    Game Freezing on Title Screeen


    we got an Xbox 1 for Christmas.

    After a few weeks of play, Madden 16 has suddenly started freezing. It gets to the "EA Sports" page and just stops. It isn't the disk b/c it looked fine and then we went ahead and exchanged it anyway.

    Other games are working fine.

    Google has not helped because most people's freezing questions had to do with the online rosters freezing at the screen with OBJ on it (I don't get as far as that screen).

    I deleted the game and re-installed it, but that did not help.

    I also unplugged and re-booted the system.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hey Charles.

    Try installing the game to your HDD, it might help so its worth a punt.

    Also I do not know what you have tried to do to fix it apart from clearing updates so here is a

    sticky about freeze issues     and possible solutions. Its likely you may have tried all the steps listed though.

    Hey mate, no one's suggesting you need to purchase a new console to support that particular Xbox Original. Have you tried your copy of the game on a friend's console, who also has an official Microsoft HDD?
