    Game freezes then returns to homepage


    Hi, keep on of having recuring issue. Xbox one x keeps freezing on game them returns to hompage. The time frame can range from few minutes to few hours of play, but most of the time within half an hour of play. When it does it once it just keeps happing
    very regularly and most times the game struggles to start up again.

    ive powered cycle, changed user, restored the xbox and reinstalled games, changed location of xbox on case it was overhearting, cleared cache and data. Im sure ive tried everthing that other people have recomended but with no sucess. Its out of warranty.
    Is there any other suggestions what could be the issue or what else i can try. Much appreciated, thanks

    Try a system reset. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds and wait until the light on the power brick turns orange/yellow and then turn it back on. Or go to settings and select restart system.

    Does the freezing happen with other games or just this one? Do you experience the same issue if you play the game after you take your Xbox One console offline? Additionally, here are some other things you can try:

    • Power Cycle your Xbox One

    •
    Uninstall the game    , power cycle, then reinstall

    •
    Factory reset     your Xbox One while keeping your games and apps

    Please try and work through all those one by one. Keep us updated on how it goes!

    If your system is out of warranty, maybe you should try to tear your console down and clear out the dust. You can find many videos on Youtube how to do it safely.

    Hi Tomesso, thanks for the reply. I tried that but still no change. Booked in with a company who fixes pc/consoles. He thinks it could be hard drive. Fingers crossed he will fix it. Thanks again
