    Game freezes and crashes shortly after start up


    Been running into an issue where my game just freezes and crashes minutes after start up.

    Game: Black desert online (ran via launcher, not Steam)

    GPU: Nvida RTX3070

    OS: Windows 11

    When I checked to the events viewer, I noted the following application error:

    I have tried reinstalling the game and the graphic driver to no avail.

    Anyone can provide some insights on this error?

    Hi,

    Out of all the information provided, I would be focusing on this area. Error 0xc0000005 is an Access Violation error which is usually caused by your computer not being able to correctly process the files and settings required to run a particular program.

    It can have many different causes, including faulty RAM problems, errors with the files of your PC and issues with the settings of your PC.

    With the exception of a hardware fault, I would suggest for you to check for corrupted Windows system files. System File Checker (SFC) is a utility in Windows that scans for corrupted Windows system files. If it finds a problem, it will try to replace the problematic system files from a cached version that’s on your PC.

    To run System File Checker (SFC), follow these steps:

    1. In the Windows search box on the taskbar, type command prompt, press and hold (or right-click) Command Prompt, then select Run as administrator > Yes.
    2. At the command prompt, type sfc /scannow (note the space between sfc and the /). Scanning will take a few minutes.
    3. If SFC finds corrupted files and replaces them, restart your PC and check if the issue persists.

    If reinstalling Windows didn't work then it's most likely a hardware issue. We can't effectively troubleshoot hardware issues on this forum so I'd advise taking it to a local computer store if possible.

    Game freezes a lot now

    Yeah I didnt start having horde freeze ups till shortly after Fenix Rising so I think its something 1 of the TUs caused.

    i always have freezing problems and its a digital copy and it happened on my physical copy too which annoyed the hell out of me what the hell is wrong with u turn 10 and playground why does these 2 wonderful games crash alot after a few hours of gameplay
