hi, for the last couple months i can't see the free game with xbox live gold on my dashboard although i;m a live gold member. i'm a live gold member for few months now and i never had this problem only for the past couple months.

so i really want to know is there any way i can have it displayed on my dashboard so i could download it and fully enjoy the xbox live gold membership?

***i renew my membership every month with a prepaid membership card.

in order to download Games with Gold for free, you will need a paid Xbox Live Gold subscription, any free trials will not count as Gold to allow purchasing those Games with Gold games for free

Cant find Xbox 360 Games with Gold

you could try delete marketplace data from your hdd, it wont harm your System.

navigate to Settings->system->storage->hdd->systemcontent

there would be marketplace data, then just delete it.

navigate to Settings->system->storage Highlight hdd and press y -> delete System Cache (twice)

now restart your console and have your fingers crossed, couldnt imagine it to be something else

If you get the deals with gold on your dashboard, then the free games with gold are usually listed on there too.

No. They are not making Xbox Live Gold free. They are only make games that are "free to play" such as fortnite for example, not require you to have gold to play online.

Other games that are not "free to play" will still require a paid Xbox Live Gold subscription in order to play them online.

There is no date announced yet for when free to play games could be played online without gold.

Xbox Live Gold is the paid subscription for the overall service of Xbox Live. Since you need Xbox Live Gold to play online and access the deals and Free Games with Gold you get every month, "Gold" and "Live" are generally used synonymously. Whatever Free
Game with Gold you downloaded when you first put in the free trial should still be playable with your active paid subscription granted you first claimed the game on the same account you started the trial to the one you are using now to play the games with
the active Gold subscription. Any free game you claimed with the Gold subscription can only be played with an active Gold subscription.

Forza Horizon 4 is a game you get with an active Xbox Game Pass subscription and not an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Forza Horizon 4 was never available as a Free Game with Gold. King's Quest is a free game in general and has always been listed as free so
anyone can get this game for free if they have an Xbox One console with or without an Xbox Live Gold subscription.

Xbox Live Gold basically gives you 3 main things. Multiplayer and chat capabilities with friends or other players over the internet, Deals with Gold, and Free Games with Gold.
