Instead of the whole documents folder, you can try to choose only games specific folders inside the Documents folder.

If you can't do it too, you can try to Unlink your PC from OneDrive or even uninstall OneDrive (if you don't use it). You will still be able to upload manually your files to OneDrive and all your files that are being saved on OneDrive/.... will get back to your computer normal path.

Now I'm not really sure if you'll need to reinstall games or not, but that's the only option I can see that can work.

Thanks so much for letting me know! It's made a mess in my OneDrive (so many files of pictures, code and other stuff I have no clue of)...I'll be so happy once I get it all cleared out.

I believe this is what One Drive does if you enable it in Windows 10. The files are just saves. You don't need to keep them if you don't want them, the originals will still be in your drive documents folders.

Nearly all PC games have cloud saving functionality. How these save depends on the platform, but most modern titles from EA, Steam, Epic Games or Gog have their own cloud save functions. These saves are stored on the respective platforms servers, they aren't
related to anything stored in One Drive.

If you delete the save from a game on One Drive, it won't delete the save Steam has for example.

but when i deleted those files my entire progress got deleted , though the main files are still in c drive some files automatically save in onne drive and if i de;ete it my character , progress in game gets deleted theres nothing i can do

You should have folders for most of your games inside your Documents folder (Start Menu/Documents in WIn 7, it might be inside your Games folder but 99% of mine go into Documents), It will either be named some variation of Flatout or the Publisher (Empire
Interactive?). Within that folder you should be able to find your save file, usually inside a folder with your Gamertag named save.bin, and delete it.
