Game files changed randomly

Recently I was playing Call of Duty:Black Ops 2 and encountered a hacker. He had the usual OPK hack on and would head shot people from wherever. He got reported a couple times and the game ended prematurely. He ended up joining my lobby and somehow changed
my rank to max prestige. Now I can't even access any of the lobbies or even customize my weapons.

The hackers gamertag is NOxxCLOUT.

I have tried reinstalling the game already, hoping someone has a fix for this.

Randomly changed gamer tags

Hello. My gamer tag was SonOfAMitch6669 but it was recently changed this morning (27/4/2018) to . I don’t know why it was changed. If this was intentional from the Xbox team because it was slightly inappropriate or was it someone hacking my
account. I don’t know what it was or is, but in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Seige I have been versing hackers. I don’t know if they hacked me. Thanks

Since game progress is stored on the game's servers, you would need to try contacting the developers to see if they can do anything.

Calling out other gamers is not allowed on the forums. As long as you filed a complaint on him, the enforcement team will investigate him.

A corrupted file can randomly happen to any game, and can't be undone.

Can only delete the damaged file and start fresh again.

You will have to pay to change your gamertag. The enforcement team will only issue a forced name change if your gamertag violates the code of conduct. They will change it to a randomly generated tag, not one you get to choose.

If you're being harrassed on Live, file a complaint on those users.

not be able to choose it.

I logged the report and tried randomly again today and it actually worked. One of the things I did change was went on my Microsoft account and changed my payment method. It might not have liked the credit card I had on file for some reason.
