Game/Family Sharing doesn’t seem to be working.

I have my account and my boyfriends account signed in on our Xbox and the Xbox is set as our home Xbox for the both of us.

Two friends of ours do the game/family sharing where if one of them purchased something, they both have access to it. Theirs is not connected to ours though.

I’m coming across a problem that on my boyfriends account, we purchased the battle pass on Fortnite so I figured it would show up on my account when I try to play Fortnite, like it shows up for our friends. However, none of the items we purchased on his
account for Fortnite is showing up on mine. I don’t know how to fix this and I hope someone understands my problem and what I am trying to say.

People need to stop moaning about family sharing. Just because microsoft was going to allow you to share your game with 10 people does not mean the publishers will. They would have had the ability to block family sharing i believe. Questions for family sharing
were left unanswered. Would players be able to play multiplayer through the sharing function? I would not be surprised if this family sharing was for singleplayer only. I am sorry, but i would rather take no drm and no always online check thing then a feature
that could possibly turn out to suck tremendously.

 

What exactly was Family Sharing

"Family Sharing as it is" is unfortunately none existent, Family Sharing is a different service to what use to be the Family Gold plan and both are none existent at this stage, i do like that the 1 Gold plan covers an XB1 in its entirety for every profile
on that console,

me personally i would prefer the Family Sharing plan over the old Family Gold plan if it ever come down to choosing one or the other.

Ingame items is one of them and it's case by case and is profile specific

Game sharing is mostly for Dlc not Ingame items
