    Is Xbox Live down?

    I have not been able to connect to Xbox live, when I test the connection it always fails between Internet and Xbox Live. It says your console is connected to the Internet but can't contact Xbox Live. Is Xbox live having problems?

    Gears of Wars 2 BC Crashing

    hmm. Do other BC games work for you? have you tried launching the game without network being connected ? Sounds like its trying to load some data and its silently failing. I suspect this could be save data on the console, or it could be the attempt to contact Xbox live that is causing the problem. Try and eliminate xbox live first and run the game offline.

    Xbox LIVE Connection: Failed

    About 3 hours ago, I started up Xbox and received a pop up window stating some features of Xbox Live are not accessible. Soon after I rebooted Xbox console and received a new status message, Xbox live connection failed. Similar to original poster.

    Network: Connected

    Internet: Connected

    Xbox LIVE: Failed (Not Connected)

    Even this Xbox.com webpage takes about 3 minutes to load or does not load at all. Every other webpage I call up appears instantly.

    Xbox One S loads with no sound / no games load

    I don’t understand how this will help. I don’t have a connection issue with the network. The network connects fine. Games don’t load because they time out loading, not because they can’t connect. My Xbox live and user profile connect fine. I fail to understand how doing network troubleshooting would solve anything here.

    When I do the connection test it fails in the third section for Xbox Live, and just says LIVE Connection Error.

    Every game just won’t connect, Diablo says it can’t connect to game server and PoE says Xbox live is unavailable. Gang beast says “failed to connect Please check internet.” YouTube and all other streaming services work just fine
