    Game errors with 0x803F8001 "Microsoft Minesweeper is currently not available in your account"


    Suddenly happened yesterday morning after using both W10 and Minesweeper successfully for ages. Same error on a desktop PC and Surface Pro 4, both devices are fully patched up to date and attached to the same Microsoft account. Tried running the App Troubleshooter
    on the Surface with no effect, Removed the game from the Surface and attempted to re-install, this fails with the same error and reports "Something unexpected happened" after displaying "Acquiring licence".

    Minesweeper won't open

    Today, for the first time, when I tried to open Minesweeper I got a message that Minesweeper is not currently available in my account. An error message -- 0x803F8001 -- was included in the message. However, in the store, Minesweeper is listed as "installed".
    What gives?

    Same error code many are getting

    Many are having problems with error code 0x803F8001 from Microsoft games in Windows 10. I get the error on Microsoft Jigsaw, Microsoft Mahjong, and Microsoft Minesweeper. They all worked fine yesterday. Says "it is currently not available in your account".
    I open Xbox and it shows the games available and when I click on the tab to play, I get the error. Is there a server problem that is affecting many users and for specific games? Microsoft Jackpot, Microsoft Bingo and Microsoft Solitaire Collection all seem
    to load correctly.

    Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition (PC) is currently not available in your account. Make sure you are signed in to the Microsoft Store and try again. Here's the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001 that is the problem after I uninstall the other ones now

    The game that I bought was gang beasts and the free app that I installed earlier that day was the Minecraft launcher, I haven't bought or installed any other games recently so I am unsure if this issue will apply to all apps and games I install or just these ones, I attempted to install three other free apps that were unrelated to each other and all three of them couldn't install and it said there were issues at their end
