    Game Error


    hey, I'm having trouble downloading and playing a game. I had previous downloaded a game (Project CARS Digital Edition) in the games with gold section in the store and for whatever reason I cannot play it nor can I download it. I tried to locate it in my
    'ready to install' tab in the 'my games and apps' and it doesn't seem to be there. So I went back into the store to try and download it, apparently I have to pay for it, when its a free with gold game thus I have a Xbox live membership so I don't see why I
    cant play the game anymore. Id appreciate it if someone could assist me with this so I'm able to get back on it as soon as possible. thanks.

    Note: I had downloaded and played the game before but I am unable to play the game now.

    Credentials error

    credentials? isnt that like your accont info?

    Try to go on xbox.com and sign into it and see if u have any messages. might just need to verify an email or something

    Hey Gibbon,

    Sorry to hear you're having issues playing your games.

    There are a couple of things that will help us better understand your situation:



    • Are you using disc games or Games on Demand when you get this error?
    • Does this happen with all your games?

    I would also recommend checking out our
    Disc Drive     troubleshooter for some possible suggestions depending on what you're seeing.

    Please let us know and we'll work from there.

    please consider that Borderlands was free to play with Gold only from April 4 to 7, so if you haven't purchased it you won't be able to play it.

    1. What game are you trying to play?
    2. What is the error code that comes up?
    3. Am I to understand that you don't have a hard drive connected?
