Game Error

Discus and support Game Error in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; So I just downloaded the game this morning. Finished the download and tried to play.     Game Error


    So I just downloaded the game this morning. Finished the download and tried to play. The screen goes black for a moment, like running any other games. then a message pops up

    Game Error

    The game couldn't start. Try downloading the game again.

    I've redownloaded the game twice, now, with the same results. Any help would be appreciated.

    Credentials error

    credentials? isnt that like your accont info?

    Try to go on xbox.com and sign into it and see if u have any messages. might just need to verify an email or something

    Hey Gibbon,

    Sorry to hear you're having issues playing your games.

    There are a couple of things that will help us better understand your situation:



    • Are you using disc games or Games on Demand when you get this error?
    • Does this happen with all your games?

    I would also recommend checking out our
    Disc Drive     troubleshooter for some possible suggestions depending on what you're seeing.

    Please let us know and we'll work from there.

    please consider that Borderlands was free to play with Gold only from April 4 to 7, so if you haven't purchased it you won't be able to play it.

    1. What game are you trying to play?
    2. What is the error code that comes up?
    3. Am I to understand that you don't have a hard drive connected?
