    Hello, I recently attempted to play the Xbox Original Darkwatch. However, whenever I try to do so, my console brings up an error screen that reads as the title to the post does. I have a 4GB Xbox 360 S model with a 320 GB Microsoft HDD. I've tried clearing
    my cache, uninstalling system updates and so on. I do not want to try and format this HDD because is it the only one I have. Please Help immediately!

    Like I said, I'd call support. It may be the end for the memory unit - not necissarily the console itself.

    Game Error - The game couldn't start. Try downloading the game again.

    I suggest you to make sure that the original disc of the game has no scratches. Darkwatch is backward compatibility game and it should be installed in your HDD before playing.

    The Darkwatch Disc is pristine and this also happens with my other Xbox Originals. Therefore, I do not believe that the disc is the fault in this situation.

    Did you purchase the hard drive new from a retailer or used/from a third party company like ebay?

    The HDD came in a Xbox box and when prompted to select a hard drive it says Microsoft on the side so I don't know what the problem is

    But was it purchased brand new? There are a lot of knock-offs out there that look official, but aren't. If you purchased it from somewhere like ebay, more than likely it's a knock-off.

    That's a good one for the phone support team, most likely it's related to your storage device and a format may not have been enough if it's failing.

    Never thought of clearing the cache....worth a shot. As for the error code it says:
