Game DVR won't record sound with record sound on

Discus and support Game DVR won't record sound with record sound on in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; So i'll be playing a game lets say destiny for an example and lets say i felt like testing the game dvr on windows 10 so when i was done recording it...     Game DVR won't record sound with record sound on


    So i'll be playing a game lets say destiny for an example and lets say i felt like testing the game dvr on windows 10 so when i was done recording it for 3 minutes as a shot test i put it into sony vegas to see if audio would record. The in game audio wasn't
    recorded nor was my voice or anyone else's voice why is this and can you fix this or no, and how can you fix it if you can

    Anyone having sound issues with tekken 7 with game dvr? whenever I record a clip there is no sound but it works fine with all my other games.

    Game DVR Won't Record Sound In Clips

    What had most likely happened is that you have recorded so much then due to low space for the game dvr it won't record sound to make the files smaller to fit in. to delete them all you have to do is, go to games and apps and select Game dvr then select show
    my captures then select manage and then highlight the clips you want to delete or select clear all. now you should be able to record with sound.

    I read somewhere (may have been a post here) that it's dependent either on what your sound is set up as or the soundcard. I pretty much gave up on the built in Game DVR as I refuse to downgrade my 5.1 setup to stereo or buy a new soundcard

    I don't have an answer, but I do have videos with and without sound. After my "Record That" prompt, the resulting 30 second DVR clip has sound. When using the DVR's Start Recording feature to record and edit a 2:49 video, the audio is not present.

    I ended up fixing my prob, small easy fix, for some reason my HDMI I guess wasn't plugged in or something right. because I unplugged it and plugged it back in and now it gets sound
