    Game DVR Won't Record Sound In Clips


    Has anyone else had trouble with their game dvr not recording sound during game clips? Idk if it does it for all games,I guess I should check but all I've been playing is Titanfall and now every time I say "Xbox record that" it does just without sound. It's
    been doing this for about a week

    Xbox update

    Ever since the update, my game dvr clips that I record do not have sound. All my Titanfall clips before the update had sound and since the update my new clips do not have sound. Anyone else experiencing this? Wtf?

    I would put good money down that you are apart of the preview program. If so it is a vug that numerous users have encountered, make sure to post here

    What had most likely happened is that you have recorded so much then due to low space for the game dvr it won't record sound to make the files smaller to fit in. to delete them all you have to do is, go to games and apps and select Game dvr then select show
    my captures then select manage and then highlight the clips you want to delete or select clear all. now you should be able to record with sound.

    I don't have an answer, but I do have videos with and without sound. After my "Record That" prompt, the resulting 30 second DVR clip has sound. When using the DVR's Start Recording feature to record and edit a 2:49 video, the audio is not present.
