    Game DVR Unable to view and/or share.


    Hi I am currently receiving this error on both Windows 10 and Xbox One where I can not view or share any content or view my messages. It all started when I went to upload a "Custom" clip and now I can't do anything I haven't received an email about anything
    done to my account so I assume it should be fine?

    This is the error I get,

    Unable to SHARE or SAVE Game DVR Clips

    If you are trying to save to the OneDrive in order to upload to Youtube then you seem to be having the same issue a lot of people are having right now. I do believe that it is being worked on.

    In the meantime you can do a workaround. When saving the files don't upload to the OneDrive. Simply save it. When it is saved you can head over to the Youtube app and upload the files from there.

    Unable to SHARE or SAVE Game DVR Clips

    I am unable to save or share anything I record using Game Dvr. Old clips recorded months ago have the share and save option. But on anything new I record the options are gone! I have tried going into manage clips and saving but it reads : Clip not saved.
    Sorry, the clip you selected was not saved. Please try again. What to do?

    Thanks for the no support and instead of a response I get an enforcement action. You really know how to treat your customers right don't you microsoft!

    The Enforcement team is separate from us, we aren't able to speculate on the actions they take on your account. Also keep in mind, that we work on a 24-hour cycle from the previous day, so it may take a day for us to respond. To clarify, was the enforcement
    action in regards to Game DVR?

    Can't Share Screen Captures

    Can you be more specific as to what you mean by "share"? There are several options when you choose to share your screenshots and clips.

    As an example, when I look at a screenshot in my game DVR, I open it and then press Start while i'm in full view, then Share. I choose to upload it to my OneDrive, but it never appears.

    There are many possible reasons why you are unable to share a video using the Game DVR in the Xbox App. It is possible that the video file format is not supported or the video is corrupted. To properly isolate your concern, please provide us the following
    information:

    • Are you unable to share all the videos that you upload using the Game DVR?
    • What is the exact error message when you tried to share the video?
    • Are you sharing the video on the Xbox App activities page only or with your Social Media apps like Facebook and Twitter?

    In the meantime, you may perform the suggested solutions from this
    link     to resolve your concern.

    Good news I can now at least view and download my game DVR clips from Xbox app via Windows 10 PC!

    Bad news continued: Via Game DVR App on Xbox One, I'm now able to see the game clips under "Xbox Live", but when I select "Share" option on a clip I get a

    "Something went wrong" error message.

    details of the error message are: "Sorry, we can't share this right now. Try again in a while."
