Game DVR unable to upload clips?

I have a YouTube channel that I upload gameplay clips to from my Xbox because I don't have an Xbox Live (Live Gold?) membership - I can't afford it as I have no income, and the Xbox was a gift after all - and on some accounts I can upload my clips to OneDrive,
but on others it won't do it, says "Something went wrong - Unable to upload game clip to OneDrive." (I don't use Upload Studio, it doesn't work for me.)

I've tried restarting my Xbox, turning it off and then turning it back on again (I almost reset it, but then I read the 'fine print' and backtracked immediately), I've logged into other accounts that don't have this problem and have been able to upload my
game clips just fine. It's nothing to do with my Wi-Fi signal (though the area where I live is notorious for bad broadband connection, it's why me and my brother never play multiplayer games unless they include local multiplayer, not just online), but just
to make sure I've gone offline and then back on, tried rebooting my router, and turning all power in my house off and then turning it back on - nothing works.

Just wondering if there's anything I've missed that I could do to fix this problem, otherwise I'll have to redo all my gameplay on an account that can upload to OneDrive and try to remember the paths I chose in games like ME: Andromeda, etc.

    :)

    Help !

Hello, I'm unable to upload and share edited Game DVR clips in the Xbox App on Windows 10 to Xbox Live. App crashes each time 99 % of the clip is uploaded.

    Hi Tristan,

There are several reasons why you are unable to edit your Game DVR videos on Xbox One Upload Studio. It is possible that the video that you are trying to edit is saved online only. To properly isolate your concern, please provide us the following information:

    • Did you download the video from your Game DVR before editing it on the Upload Studio?
    • Were you able to edit the videos that you recorded using the Game DVR on the Xbox One console?
    • Are you only trying to edit game clips?

In the meantime, you may try to record a game clip using the Game DVR on Xbox One and edit it on the Upload Studio to help isolate the issue further. You may refer to this

    link
    as your guide.

Game DVR unable to upload clips?

    Hey there Teddy!

Is it possible that the account running into the error doesn't have adequate space in the OneDrive to accommodate the upload? Are you able to delete any prior uploads and try again? You can always try

    re-adding your profile
to your console to see if that helps as well.

Let us know. Game DVR unable to upload clips? :)

Game DVR vs. Upload Studio vs. My Game Clips

Every clip you create using game dvr or clips that are automatically recorded, your friends can see, but if you want to share your clip with the Xbox community you have to upload them, with the upload studio.

Game DVR now records at 60 FPS and a higher bit rate!

I had no issues with the clips before. But there is always room for improvement with the game dvr and upload studio

    Xbox live captures on pc

    Hey Jason!

Thanks for reaching out to us today. Game clips on Xbox are recorded, edited, and shared from the Game DVR feature associated to the Upload Studio app. The Upload Studio app is the only way to upload and share clips that you recorded from Xbox or Xbox on
    Windows 10.

As of right now, I don't think there is a way to convert or transfer your recorded files that are captured using your internal graphics card. All clips are captured using the Game DVR feature and then edited and shared from Upload Studio.

    Look over our
Game DVR and Upload Studio on Xbox One
article online that goes over how to record and share clips on Xbox.

    Hope this helps!
