  1. Game DVR recording problem

    Hey there,

I'm trying to record using the DVR
    Game while playing Metal
Gear V, when I type Windows
    + Alt + R appears
the timer and go all the time, at one point
    I type Windows + Alt +
R to stop recording and I get a message
confirming that the video is saved,
the problem is that no matter how long I
recorded, I always get a video of
    20 seconds.

The first time I used it, I recorded
a video of 42 minutes and the 42 minutes of video were saved, so
I decided to use Game DVR again, and then
always it gives me a 20 seconds video recorded.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
    or why this happens?

    Thanks in advance

    :)

    DVR problems.

Yes I have this problem and its really annoying. Having the DVR recording makes FIFA14 slow, sluggish and delayed in gameplay online and offline so I like to stop the DVR recording. Now however even with DVR turned off it keeps recording and saving the annoying
    auto record clips.

This has been happening since the last system update.

    Problem of Game DVR (Recording)

When I start recording with Game DVR (Win + alt + R), it looks working (just 10 seconds). After 10 seconds, recording is stop, and nothing is saved in video folder.

If I finish recording in 10 seconds, nothing is saved, too.

So I can't recording with Game DVR. Can you guess something?

    Game DVR recording problem

I'm having the same problem. If I use the manual record (windows + alt + r), I get a video of 30 seconds no matter how long I record. If I tell it to record the last 3, 5, or 10 minutes and I use windows+alt+g to "Record that", it only saves the first
minute to a minute and a half of the recording. I can't get any recordings longer than that no matter how hard I try, and there's no error message given. I have 700GB of free space on the Hard Drive so that shouldn't be an issue.

I have a Windows 8.1 Machine that was upgraded to Windows 10 with 8GB of RAM, 2GB nVidia GeForce 840m Video Card + an integrated Intel one.

I also have 600 GB of free space on the HD, Windows10, 8GB RAM, i7 4510U, 4GB nvidia Geforce 840m + an integrated intel one.

Hey guys I just fixed my (different) Game DVR problem with a graphics driver update. It was frustrating the hell out of me so I'm glad it's fixed now.

    Have you all tried that?

Having the same exact problem even spent 3 hours with chat support trying to fix it.. Nothing helped I think it's the app itself. We need to get more attention drawn to it..

Thought the latest update would fix this issue, but still having problems recording clips from games like Fallout 4, The Division, and other large games. I can use the Record That, and once use the DVR Snap to record 5 minute clips. But after the first
recording, the next attempt the DVR just circles away.

Xbox one automatically recording game clips (FM5 Drifting Away)

Turn off the game DVR completely. Settings preferences turn off game DVR. Note that with it off all gameplay recording including manual methods like record that and the DVR app will no longer be able to record. Hopefully they will add an option to turn off
    just the auto recording.
