Game DVR prevent auto-uploading

When I say "Xbox record that", I want to edit my recording before uploading it for everyone to see. Is there any way to set my xbox to not automatically upload every 30 sec video I take?

Auto game dvr recording is annoying in Dead Rising also and quite frankly not needed. It seems like turning off game dvr prevents manual recording as well via "xbox, record that", unfortunately. Anybody else know how to prevent auto recording while maintaining
the ability to manually record?

I had notice that Game DVR is Auto Deleting the old things that is saved on the xbox ! how to prevent that i want some of things to stay on my xbox

Also once i uploaded 2 videos to xbox live from Game DVR and now i didn't found them ?! SO WTF ??

Thing is... the XB1 has a continuous loop that is always recording. When you say Record That, it grabs the last 30 seconds and uploads it to your cloud space within the X1 universe. That is where your friends will see it as it is on your "wall". No clips
are held inside your X1, only the continuous loop. As of right now, there is no way to change it. You either have it ready to go or totally off. I do not see why this is a problem tho. Unless you have a very small data cap. If you have no cap, does it matter
what your friends see?

 

I get what you mean Harker. You just want it not to appear in the feed until you edit and share it. I have often thought this. So many times you see one clip from a friend and then the edited named clip not long after. It's a duplication not needed.

Should be a simple preference setting like Share clips automatically to feed. Uncheck it to have you manually share clips to feed.

 

Oh, good. I'm not the only 1 who has wanted this to happen.
