Game DVR not working no (Y) or (X) button

I have been trying to record or capture images in my Minecraft world I only get the option when I double tap home to manage my captured game DVR I have power cycled I have checked and unchecked under settings preferences game DVR and straining allowed broadcast
and game captures and has still not solved the problem when I tried to record or capture in game I do not get a (Y) button or an (X) button or any other options set Press menu for game DVR when I do so it comes up game DVR manage captures only I would like
to be able to capture photos of my world and or record but I do not know if it's in my settings that I screwed up or there is something going on that I am not aware of I noticed that my son was able to do it and does have the Y and X button on the same game
and as far as I know his settings are the same and yes my game and system is fully updated if you have any suggestions or you can help me please comment back I also cannot find my game DVR in my applications or snap an app...

Game dvr

game dvr dont wonks so when i start the app and start making a clip it dont starts it keeps standing at 00.00 and on the double xbox button it doesnt wirk to so there it is no press Y or X things in the the middl or anywhere on the screen...pls what can
i do to take clips again?

FIFA 15 - X and Y buttons do not work

I have this situation:

1. One player game - the buttons X and Y do not work;

2. Two player game - for first player the buttons X and Y do not work while for the second player those buttons work very well.

Does anyone have any idea what happens? or Why? Help us, please!

It sounds like your son's Xbox One hasn't received the update if they see the option to press Y or X for Game DVR. With the new update, press the Xbox button once and then press the menu button to bring up the Game DVR app. All Game DVR abilities are now done
through there. Let us know if you have any other questions with that.

Go to settings , go to game dvr,and you can untick the auto record game dvr box,you will find your "record that" will work hassle free.Bf4 once in the game,click boxes (old back button) to open battlelog and go on your friends names and you have the option
to invite via the "x" button.

I just say "xbox take a screenshot" with Kinect , should be a double tap on the home button then "Y" button....

also Make sure 'Allow Broadcasts and game DVR uploads' is still checked in settings / preferences.

When you double tap, do you see the option in the upper left, "X" for video "Y" for screenshot? Have you checked Game DVR to see if the screenshot actually saved and the console just didn't give you the notification? From the home screen press RT and select
My games and apps then select Game DVR.

I looked at my own settings and all my Game DVR options are checked/enabled.

What are you trying to take a screenshot/video of? The X/Y button options should show up only when you're actively playing a game. It won't appear if you're browsing the Xbox One interface or using other apps.

One more thing, how's your storage space on your Xbox? If it's getting full, I'm pretty sure the system might disable Game DVR until you free up some space.
