Game DVR not working (0x82323012)

Game clips dont record. I try every length and i get a sorry cannot record error 0x82323012 and if i press start record manually, when i end the recording it just sits spinning endlessly with no end product.

A hard reset fixes the issue for about 2 clips and then the fault returns. Obviously it is annoying having to unplug the console for a few minutes whenever i want to record something....and doing so loses the thing i want to record anyway.

Ive seen alot on this topic online but no fixes and no comments from Microsoft about this. Just knowing they are working on a patch would be something....

I have noticed that a workaround in the comments from
xbox one wont record game dvr error 0x82323012 and you can follow the method to fix this problem by deleting some videos in your upload studios.

Anyway try this out:

Error 0x82323012 occurs when you try to use Game DVR on Xbox One
You see the following error code and message when trying to use the Game DVR feature on Xbox One:

0x82323012 Sorry We Couldn't Record That

Note You may get this error because some games disable the recording of gameplay by default. You won't be able to make clips of these titles.

Solution
To resolve this problem, make sure that you have enabled game captures on your console. Here's how:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Settings.

Select All settings.

Under Preferences, select Game DVR & Streaming.

Select Allow broadcasts and game captures.

I have done this and checked this multiple times, I deleted old videos and nothing seems to be working still.

Hey guys, go into your setting to make sure your dvr recording service is turned on. It's in settings under dvr and just make sure it has a check mark.

go to your xbox one settings and go to preferences then make sure on the system & app you have the Record gameplay with Game DVR ticked and then it should work
