Game DVR "No Audio"

Discus and support Game DVR "No Audio" in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Whenever I record a game clip on my DVR the clip has NO sound. This has been happening for a couple weeks or more now.     Game DVR "No Audio"


    Whenever I record a game clip on my DVR the clip has NO sound. This has been happening for a couple weeks or more now. Very occasionally I'll get one with sound, but not very often. I've done hard resets, taken the game out, etc. Nothing helps. I am an Xbox
    One Preview App user as well. Anybody else out there experiencing this as well?

    No, your specific TV volume will not change the recorded volume of in-game sound on DVR. With certain external video editing software, It seperates the video track from the audio, allowing adjustment of sound level, as well as the adding of more audio tracks
    (I.E., music, voice-over, etc), in which custom adjust of volume can be made as well.

    Can't upload game clips of The Crew 2

    No it's all "raw" game recording straight from the game with it recorded with the Xbox DVR.

    Game DVR "No Audio"

    Seen a few have this issue some said it helped by dowing the hard reset

    Hold power button on console for 5/8 secs

    @MessiahBrowny, I do that hard rest al the time. That still does't fix the issue.

    Not that I'm aware - you can have the game dvr not record audio I believe but I don't think there's an audio only option.

    DVR not recording sound

    IF the game plays audio fine, and you then start the DVR recording then you should record audio fine. This is not the case since they did that 1404 update.

    I found that if you did a reset the DVR was recording audio again.

    Power down the machine. Unplug the power from the back till the power block light

    changes to orange. Plus back in, and reboot. It worked for me.
