    Game DVR missing


    Hello,

    I'm on windows 10 since a time now. I wanted to try the windows included feature to record "game dvr" but it seems like it is missing from my computer.

    When I go on the Start menu, there isn't an xbox symbol, when I hit Windows+G nothing happens; and when I launch the xbox app and go to settings and click on game dvr, the app freezes.

    My windows version and all the apps are up to date.

    The game DVR on Windows is now found under Windows settings (Windows 10) under the gaming section.

    Hi there,

    When you are in your Windows settings > Gaming > Game Bar, Is the option for Record Game clips, screenshots, etc. on?

    "XBOX record that" only recording 1 second clips??

    Same problem here... its really hit or miss and even trying to manually set it to record 3min in the game DVR doesn't work.... This really needs to be fixed!

    Yes sir it worked, held power button for 8 sec, then unplugged for 1 min. Fired up, games an recorded. Upon review said recordings had audio. I guess every update must be meet with a hard reboot. What is this, Android!!! LOL Thanks guys...

    Yes mate it is a known issue you can try a reboot hold power button 8 seconds power back up also you can try signing in again even if already signed in use your GT top left of screen its only a temp fix
