    Game DVR - low quality and choppy ?


    Hello folks,

    Firstly I wish to apologize as I made this post earlier but in the wrong section.

    I recently got my XBOX One and noticed the feature to record 30 second gameplay videos through the Upload Studios app (Game DVR). It is supposed to record in 720p 30 fps. But my recordings (of the FIFA 16 demo) are nowhere near that. If even barely 360p
    and laggy. Anyone know what could be wrong?

    Game DVR bad quality contrast and brightness???

    The problem is I have had a Xbox one for almost a year, recently I decided to use the game dvr and the quality seems really low and hight contrasted, is there any steps and suggestions to fix this. Thanks.

    Game DVR Recording Choppy

    I've noticed even upon full reboot and turning instant on off that recording via "record that" or using the game dvr results in a video that is choppy and not smooth. Hope this gets fixed.

    "XBOX record that" only recording 1 second clips??

    just the fact it downscales all my videos to 480p and are choppy on medocre internet connections are a big turn off for the DVR...i'd rather have a standalone that displayed in 1080p....this dvr they added is garbage honestly...well it needs a huge makeover.

    I have made sure the hdmi cableare securely plugged into both the console and tv. Tried changing dvr to 720p instead of 1080. Still choppy, ideas?

    well honestly i would rather use a standalone hd recorder then this garbage. Limited time, down scaled to 480...choppy and laggy. No thanks, good start to a built in dvr but far from where I would expect a dvr to be in this digital age. I'd rather turn
    it off then watch peoples 480p clips that does no justice to the game grahics if you're trying to decide on purchasing or not.

    Hey Izzys6Dadsold,

    By any chance would you be using the your Mobile's network whilst trying to play the clips on a mobile device? It could be a bandwidth issue.
