  1. Game DVR lags game streaming

On both The xbox app and Xbox beta, game DVR causing streaming to lag heavily. This has only started since the last update and the lag goes away when I turn game DVR off. My computer has no problems during streaming with ram or cpu usage. What are alternative
apps I can use for recording that will allow me to upload to xbox live.

    :)

Hi, I have noticed I no longer have the ability to control game DvR in the settings, I used to have the option to Allow Play To Streaming and Record Gameplay With Game DvR, now I have the settings Allow Play To Streaming and Allow Broadcasts and Game DvR
Uploads, my console is randomly recording clips, it was off, when I went to check I noticed the above changes,

    Hi eTrickyy,

Thank you for bringing this up to us. Normally, you should be able to stream your Xbox One using the Xbox app on your computer. It's possible that the recent Windows Update affects its functionality that's why it only works fine when turning off Game DVR.
We can address this concern to our engineers by using the
    Feedback Hub on Windows 10
so that a fixed will be available on the upcoming Windows Update. The Feedback Hub app lets you tell Microsoft about any problems you run into while using Windows 10 and send
suggestions to help us improve your Windows experience. Sending a suggestion or reporting a problem can be as easy as finding feedback similar to yours and upvoting it.

To add a new feedback you may follow the steps below:

    1. Select Add new feedback next to the search bar.
    2. Tell us whether you’re sending a problem or suggestion.
    3. In the Summarize your issue box, provide a concise but clear title for your problem or suggestion.
    4. In the Give us more detail (optional) box, you can give us more specific information, like how you encountered the problem.
    5. Select a category that corresponds to your feedback. For example, if your printer stopped working, you’d select
      Hardware, Devices, and Drivers.
    6. Select a subcategory—like Print for problems with printing.
    7. (Optional) Step through the problem while capturing the steps so we can see what happened.
    8. (Optional) Send a screenshot to help show the problem. When you’re satisfied with your feedback, select
      Submit.

Regarding your other concern, the Game DVR is the default app to use when recording video clips on Windows 10, which is allowed to upload it in the Xbox app, However, we're looking forward to other recording apps that will allow uploading clips recorded
in the Xbox app. You can also share this idea with our team by using the Feedback Hub.

Keep us posted if you need further assistance. We'd be glad to further assist you.

  5. I already did that before posting here. Should I post another one as game dvr also affected Gears of War 4 on my pc. It led to massive frame drops to the point where the game was unplayable.

Game DVR Error: "Sorry We Couldn't Record That (0x82323012)"

I go to settings and preferences, and I see no option to "Record Gameplay with Game DVR" option.

The only options I have are

    "Allow play to streaming"

    and

"Allow broadcasts and Game DVR uploads"

    Both of which enabled.

    What do?
