GAME DVR gone

My xbox is missing the record gameplay with game dvr option. I still can record clips but there's no option to save the clips that option is gone to? Tryed restoring but no joy. Even got the latest update.

I talked with Xbox support today for the longest and they told me that my issue is a ongoing issue for preview members. I'm seeing the DVR screenshots in my tv. My tv notifies me if I'm in HDR mode or not. The screenshots in HDR look very colorless and like
the Xbox support guy said "the colors have been stripped down"

When I do HDR gaming, My game looks amazing but as soon as I look at a DVR screenshot, the quality is gone. That wasn't the issue before and it so happens that the issue started today. The DVR got downgraded or something ruined it.

I love the " Play your own music from your HDD anytime that you want to from the Xbox 360 " and I have a question that is directed towards those that love the Game DVR on the Xbox One.

How would you feel if the Game DVR was completely removed in the next Xbox console? Once you've answered this question, that is exactly how I feel (sad because it is gone).

Just for the record, I applaud Microsoft for implementing this new feature (Game DVR) into the Xbox One, but I don't care about it at all.

I had the issue happen again. This time, I think I may have found a "workaround" to get it working again, without cold booting either the DVR or the XBox One.

To reiterate: the issue was that the signal [video and audio] from the DVR was blinking in and out.

The Workaround:

I performed the following sequence of actions, with power settings set to Toggle DVR on/off (since that's all my DVR supports):

- Start with DVR on and XBox One on, exhibiting the problem

- Turn XBox One off normally (which toggles the DVR off)

- Turn the DVR on (even though you cannot see/hear the content)

- Turn XBox One on (which toggles the DVR off)

- Turn DVR on

Once things handshake over HDMI, the problem is gone! (until it comes back, possibly by turning the XBox off normally, in which case I have to redo this workaround)

Any progress in getting this problem fixed?

if you want to remove the gamebar, then you have to follow the guide here as it is part of the OS, when you update the OS again it may re install it. some games that rely on invites may not work and gamebar dvr will be gone, basically everything xbox related will be gone apart from the xbox app. sometimes starting a game you will get a popup that no app is present and you can ignore that.
