game dvr either records microphone and game or doesn't record anything at all

i have record game audio only checked but it records my microphone and the computer audio and it sounds horrific. if i turn this off i don't get any audio at all. this never used to happen. help please?

Not able to record microphone with Game DVR

My friend has the option to record his microphone in Game DVR, but I don't. I have 2 connected and working microphones, one is a compression mic and one is from my Razer headphones, the only option is to record game audio, no option for microphone. Any help?

Windows 10 Built-in Screen Recorder

Hello those in the office and community,

I'm having trouble with using the Game DVR on Windows 10. I've looked on the internet and apparently it records voice using the computer microphone. I tried recording some game play but it didn't record my voice. I have used other programs (such as Open
Broadcast Software) and it recorded my voice perfectly. I tried looking in the settings and I have my audio on full.

According this video here:

The DVR could now record microphone, but my device could still not record.

Please help me.

On Battlefield 4, "Xbox, Record That" isn't working, doesn't record anything, even though I get the notification that it does. And game dvr is only recording 1 second clips. Hope this gets fixed ASAP.

Turn off the game DVR completely. Settings preferences turn off game DVR. Note that with it off all gameplay recording including manual methods like record that and the DVR app will no longer be able to record. Hopefully they will add an option to turn off
just the auto recording.

I'm having the same problem. Only 1 sec clips if it records at all. The manual DVR doesn't work for me either, but Battlefield 4 automatic recordings (when you level up) are annoyingly working all of the time.
