game dvr doesnt let you choose what mic to record with

i have a built in mic in my laptop that is broken but i have a good mic plugged in... for some reason it chooses to record with the broken one instead of letting me choose between input devices... how do i change what mic game dvr records with...

Game DVR records my friends voice in skype and it shouldn't do that.

I have my windows 10 game dvr. Now when I play battlefield 1 and record my game using win + alt + r the game dvr doesnt record my voice which is correct, but it records my friends voice from skype. I got the mic recording turned off or anything related to
it. So it should only record the games audio and not the skype audio. Any idea how to fix this?

Doesnt record that just record a small snapshot and the game dvr record the longer clips ?

Hi,

We suggest changing the default recording device set on your Windows 10 computer. Here are the steps:

1. Press Windows + X keys.

2. Select Control Panel.

3. Select Hardware and Sound, and then select Sound.

4. Select Recording.

5. Select a device, and then click Set Default.

6. Click Apply, and then click OK.

7. We recommend that you restart your device so that the changes can take effect. Make sure that you save and close any apps that you have opened before restart.

8. Launch the Xbox app and try to record.

As of currently, game DVR does not support recording mic conversations.

The help menu on Xbox One states:

To record what's about to happen:

Load your game, then launch Game DVR.
Select Start new clip. The Game DVR app records for up to 5 minutes, then adds the clip to
My clips in the Upload app.

To record what just happened:

Load your game, and play as usual. When something cool happens and you want to record it, launch the Game DVR app. The easiest way to do this is by saying, "Xbox, snap Game DVR."
Select End clip now and choose how far back you want Game DVR to grab. You can grab up to the last 5 minutes.

Sounds to me like simply saying "Xbox, record that." only records the last 30~ seconds of what previously happened, whereas what you needed to do was the second option that I listed.

"I cant upload my clips on Windows 10" then you say "There's a problem with your recording" Im really sick and annoyed of this bs. My privacy settings say I can upload game clips and I know for a fact Im not banned but it still doesnt let me upload them.
