Title pretty much sums it up, not a huge deal; just kinda annoying typing out captions and having them simply dissapear when I reload the window, guess I'll have to do it (MUCH more slowly) on XBOX

Does anyone know how to edit video and put it back on your xbox one?

From the Game DVR screen within the Xbox app, you can access and edit all game clips recorded on Windows 10, as well as clips shared from your Xbox One. Editing in the Xbox app is restricted to Trim at this time. For more info:

Hey Jason!

Thanks for reaching out to us today. Game clips on Xbox are recorded, edited, and shared from the Game DVR feature associated to the Upload Studio app. The Upload Studio app is the only way to upload and share clips that you recorded from Xbox or Xbox on
Windows 10.

As of right now, I don't think there is a way to convert or transfer your recorded files that are captured using your internal graphics card. All clips are captured using the Game DVR feature and then edited and shared from Upload Studio.

i've this issue too. tried to unflag "allow dvr record (blahblah)" and now i can record clips saying "record that". no success with dvr. my 2 cents

I had same issue of the dvr not recording when i requested ' xbox record that' I was getting the notification saying that the clip was being recorded however there was no notification saying that the recording had ended. However the dvr recorded automatically
when being promoted etc.

My fix was the snap the game dvr while playing the game so that its on in the background. Now all my xbox record that requests are now being saved and ready for editing

problems with Game DVR." -

A clip is shorter than expected

Under most circumstances, Game DVR allows the creation of clips up to 5 minutes in length. At times, you may find that your clip is shorter than anticipated. There are a few different reasons why this may happen:

Time spent outside the game is removed from the clip. For example, if you back out of the game to the
Home screen while recording, the time at the Home screen will not make it into the clip.
Publishers may disable the recording of certain game segments for several reasons that may include, but are not limited to:
- Potential game spoilers.
- Views of a player or players in the game seen through their Kinect.
Game DVR records clips at 720p, 30 frames per second. For most games, this resolution will allow a clip of approximately 5 minutes. Clips with significant graphic intensity or action may be shorter, as duration is sacrificed to maintain a high-quality recording.
