    Game DVR capture and upload issues since latest update


    I'm having issues with Game DVR since the latest update. It is not capturing or uploading some captures. I say "XBOX record that" and it says that it records it and then tells me that the upload failed. I then go into my captures and it only captures some
    videos, but not most of them. There is a blank space where the capture would be, but without any content. I have only had this problem since the latest update. Is anyone else having this problem? Another issue is when I select the Game DVR icon it automatically
    opens it in a Snap window. I want it to go to the fullscreen window automatically.

    Is anyone else having these issues? Can you help? Has Microsoft acknowledged these issues?

    upload studio - latest update audio issues

    with the last update to update studio, a game dvr capture (from forza) has the car engine audio cutting in and out and then overlapping when playing back the uploaded file from onedrive. have tried several uploads, each with the same issue. pls fix.

    No sound on recorded game clips since update

    No audio on my upload game dvr videos since the april update. Microsoft please fix soon

    Recording gameplay through steaming without a capture card?

    Thanks for the reply, but I thought Upload and Game DVR captured 30 second clips only? I want to record 15+ mins of gameplay to upload.

    You can use OneDrive. You get 5GB of storage for free.

    In the capture settings on the console, you can set it so that captures are automatically uploaded to OneDrive if you like. You can also manually upload multiple captures to OneDrive at once via the Captures app. Also, you can upload an individual capture to OneDrive via the Share menu.

    Once uploaded, screenshots will appear in the Pictures\Xbox Screenshots folder inside your OneDrive folder, and videos will appear in Videos\Xbox Game DVR.

    To clarify, are you talking about changing the limit on the amount of captures or the length of captures? If you're looking to change the length, this is possible using the steps
    here.

    I've tried those solutions and neither work.

    When I am playing games there is no problem, it is only when I capture a clip via DVR that the clip is stuttery/jittery when viewing playback. Can you visit my profile and view the PES 2020 and Apex clips for an idea of the problem

    As mentioned a moment ago this has all been happening since the latest update, are you able to provide feedback to Microsoft to look into this before next update?

    What happened to Upload?

    With no thanks to Xbox staff, i figured it out.

    There is no more upload. It's simply renamed Game DVR.

    That is where you can simply view your captures/clips.
