    Game DVR App Failure!!!


    Well I'm part of the preview program and had ZERO issues with my game DVR during the testing phase of the new OS! After the rollout, I now ONLY can record 30sec clips and ONE clip up to five min, and sometimes it doesnt even get the full five min!! What
    happens is this, I'll use Battlefront as an example, went on a nice streak, snapped DVR, end clip, save the last five min! The first time I do this, it works fine, however, this is the only time I can do this, after that DVR will not show in snapped window
    ( its blank)! This function WILL not work until I restart my console, but the quick 30sec clips still work! I did find a workaround but it takes upwards of 3min as the game DVR app is extremely slow to start! If I want to record another 5 min after the DVR
    app failure i have to hit my home button, manually open game DVR from My Games and Apps, click create clip, it snaps itself, wait upwards of 3 min for the app to display options and then can make the clip but by then the full moment is gone! Im completely
    baffled as to why Microsoft couldn't just add the timeframe to the quick record( doubletap home, X button)! It would be nice to just doubletap hit the X and then it ask the timeframe! For now I cannot use DVR as its broken! Hard resets DO NOT fix this problem!
    I waited a few to report this just to see if another update was released! Any help other than hard resetting would be appreciated!

    You have to go to your Game DVR app. Press the Xbox button and push left to get to your apps, and select Game DVR.

    Hey Tunika!

    Sounds like the issue comes from the DVR portion of the app. Try the steps on the

    game DVR on Xbox app     page on our website and let us know if the issue persists!

    Click on the Settings Cog

    Click on the Game DVR tab

    Switch Record game clips and screenshots using Game DVR to the Off position
