    Game Dvr and Recording


    I have not been able to record any games or anything since 11/28/2015 and after several unsuccessful attempts at getting to the root of the problem it was finally discovered that something went wrong when i was applied to the preview program. I need the
    help of one of the staff members to put me in it so that i can start having game clips recorded again

    Problem of Game DVR (Recording)

    When I start recording with Game DVR (Win + alt + R), it looks working (just 10 seconds). After 10 seconds, recording is stop, and nothing is saved in video folder.

    If I finish recording in 10 seconds, nothing is saved, too.

    So I can't recording with Game DVR. Can you guess something?

    Turn off auto game clip saving?

    Auto game dvr recording is annoying in Dead Rising also and quite frankly not needed. It seems like turning off game dvr prevents manual recording as well via "xbox, record that", unfortunately. Anybody else know how to prevent auto recording while maintaining
    the ability to manually record?

    Turn off the game DVR completely. Settings preferences turn off game DVR. Note that with it off all gameplay recording including manual methods like record that and the DVR app will no longer be able to record. Hopefully they will add an option to turn off
    just the auto recording.

    Ca be frustrating!

    Or go to settings, go to game dvr, you can untick the auto record game dvr box and you will find your "record that" will work fine still.

    its official!!!!!!

    You should say "Xbox Record that" to record the last 30 secs. If you say "Xbox go to game dvr" it will snap the dvr but you than have to manually hit record.
