Game Drive Issues..

Ok so I brought a Seagate Game Drive to help extend recording times for the Xbox one.

However when I was setting it up I accidentally clicked to format it and set it up as a game storage area instead of clicking media, and now I can't find out how to fix it. Can someone please tell me how to either switch it from game storage to media or how
to fully remove it from the Xbox one so i can start over again.

Hi there,

I think connecting it to a PC and formatting it there to for example NTFS will do the trick.

After that connect it to Console again and you should get the same question so you can choose what type.

The game requires an Xbox hard drive due to the system files on the hard drive. So it's not a storage issue, it's the issue of not having an actual Xbox hard drive. The 4gb is internal flash memory and not a hard drive. Unfortunately, this is a requirement
for some games.

This may mean that the issue is the game itself, is the game stored on an expansion card or external hard drive? A corrupted drive may cause issues as well.
