Game downloads stuck/stalled

My detailed network statistics are:

DL: 163 Mbps

UL: 10 Mbps

Latency: 64 ms

Packet loss: 0%

MTU: 1480

The system (Xbox) is also up to date with the latest updates.

I don't disagree that something is "timing out," but can't figure out where in the chain it occurs.

1) I don't have any bandwidth or time limiting set on my router settings.

2) The time outs occur at the same place in each file/game regardless of whether I'm wireless (5GHz and 2.5 channel same results) or wired with Cat5 into the router .

3) Same result when no other devices in my house competing for bandwidth (i.e. the XBox is the only device using the band width with all other devices at idle)

4) The "time out" does not reset or clear, meaning the DL won't resume, when I a) power cycle the Xbox b) soft reset the Xbox c) reboot the router or d) reboot the cable modem

5) The download DOES resume if I switch the XBox internet connection to LTE hotspot or Cat5 cable direct to the cable modem (bypass the router).

6) I can download a movie from Amazon or stream content with no pauses or dropouts (so the DL stall is unique to the Xbox).

Again, the stalls occur at different times for each file, since each file has same dl speed of ~100Mbps. One file will ALWAYS stall at 1.1 GB, while a different game will stall at 850MB, for example. If it is a timeout issue, why does it not occur after
a certain amount of time (for example after 1 min without a good connection), but after a unique size limit per game or file?

After the stall for one game, I can queue up another game and it will download up to the unique stopping point for that particular game, and then it will stall, too.

#5 makes me think it might be the router, but why a reboot doesn't clear it is puzzling, and I'm not quite up to going out to replace with a new router to test it just yet...

Seems to me you have tried different options, but you could also check the information about Troubleshoot game installation problems on Xbox One,
or Troubleshoot slow game downloads on Xbox One.

You have also tried both wireless and wired but still have some issues, so that is not the problem I think.

Maybe also have a look at your Network settings and check the Detailed network statistics, and finally, you could check in
this link if you get a network error.

#5 is definitely interesting. While I don't want to have you go buy another router, as you stated you would rather avoid that, you can still test this out another way. If you have a friend or family member that lives nearby, I recommend taking the console
to their home network. Test out the download their. If this resolves the issue, then their may be something your ISP can do on their end without replacing the router. You would just need to let them know that everything works fine on a different home network.

sorry to hear. But no, that's not the way it is. The download aborts because a timeout is reached. In the case of a wireless connection, other networks and other devices can disturb your network. If you do not want to stay connected via RJ45 cabel (saver
and faster) yo can check on your router if there is a channel to send, on which are less others - more bandwith offers 5GHz Option.

Ive already installed, played, and beat the game a month ago. Now I want to play again and its stuck I stalling..?? It shouldnt have anything to install. I'm confused.
