Game Downloaded to Wrong Account

We purchashed an Xbox One Assasins Creed bundle for our family for Christmas. My oldest son who is home from college helped set up the unit on our television. He has his own Xbox at school so he also logged in on our unit. When we went to download the Assasins
Creed Unity game he did not realize that he was logged in and not our family account. Now we cannot play it on our account. Are we out of luck? I do not want to have to change profiles to play the game, and actually can't change profiles since we don't have
his password. Is there a way to delete the game from his profile and re download it to ours? Any advice would be helpful?

I accidentally signed in my secondary account when i fist got my xbox one and downloaded all the games from the bundle and purchased 2 games with it and it wont let me play it in my primary account, is there any way to transfer those games to my primary
account??

Using your secondary account, go to Settings and then Home Xbox. Mark the console as your Home Xbox. You should now be able to play all the games on your primary account, as long as you are on the same console.

 

Game content cannot ordinarily be transferred between accounts, but if you speak with Microsoft Support they will know for sure - it is definitely outside the realms of what we can do here on the forums. I don't think they can transfer the content, but it
can be worth speaking with them to make sure.

For the time being, if your son's account is logged in you will be able to play the game. Connect a second controller and sign it in as him, then whoever is playing on the other controller can play the game with their own profile.
