Game download discrimination

Hello. Has anyone else experienced their gaming account being de-prioritized by their Internet provider? My satellite-based provider has recently done so, basically making it impossible to fulfill their obligation to provide me with the monthly 60GB of
content stated in my contract. A few weeks ago, I was forced to download a 30GB update to a Tomb Raider game that I purchased on disc last year to be able to even activate the game. That took 20 hours at the then current download speed of 1,000Kbps! Since
then, the speed has been further reduced to, I kid you not, 19Kbps. At that atrocious speed, doubt that it would even be possible to utilize 60GB in a month, even operating 24/7. Yet, I am expected to pay the usual $100 per month for the privilege of being
able to NOT utilize it. Am I wrong, or does this smack of gamer discrimination?

I think that this covid 19 situation is afecting everyone. Ip's, big Gaming companies and us. I don't think there is a deliberate discrimination.

The terms and conditions for games with gold does state that the games may not be available in all regions. It is not discrimination. It you live in a country that is not actually supported, they definitely can't guarantee you will be able to download all
of the games.

You don't know what discrimination is:

Giving higher sentences for crimes to ethnic or religious groups is discrimination.

Exploring the effects of gaming on social groups from any origin is not. It's actually very hard to discriminate against older people because guess what.... you might end up there too.
