Game download being dumb

So I tried installing a game through gamepass on my PC after replacing one of the storage drives. I replaced it and didn't just add the new one because my SATA power cable only has two male ends. It installs after like 5 seconds, then a pop-up comes up saying my content finished installing. I click on it, it opens something that shows me "ms-resource:AppNameShippingClient can’t open because it is offline. The storage device might be missing or disconnected." Is there any way I can fix this? I just wanna play a game. Please help.

Check that the account that purchased the subscription logged into the Microsoft Store app on your Windows and that all content is also installed on the same hard drive.

These steps can help you too, give it a try.

1. Logout from Xbox app and Microsoft Store app

2. Look for the Xbox app and Microsoft Store in the Windows bar, right-click, click app settings and then click terminate, restore and reset. Do this with the game too.

3. Clear the store cache type ''wsreset'' in the Windows bar, run as admin, and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.

4. Login with your account again in both apps

5. Open the Microsoft Store, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner ''download and updates'' and click on ''get updates'' and update everything. After these steps restart your PC and try again.

Sorry you’re having trouble. Can you please let us know what troubleshooting steps you’ve tried so far?

Have you tried the basics such as resetting the console by holding the power button on the console for a full 10 seconds until it turns off. Unplug it, wait a minute and then turn it back on?

Using unauthorized mods can lead to account and hardware bans. If its not on the Xbox store, or available by default in the game, dont do it

sorry guys problem seemed to fix itself maybe being dumb about it but downloaded again and it finished
