    Game doesn't run 'cuz of Family Safety


    I recently installed Nier Automata from the Xbox app on PC, but, since it's a PEGI 18 game, the system needs that I send a request via email to one of my Family adult members, even though I am 22. I'm getting salty as hell for this situation. Has anyone had this issue before?

    try the following

    1. Sign in to Xbox LIVE by using the account that you want to change.
    2. Press the Xbox button on your controller.
    3. Go to your Settings (far right), and then select Account Management.
    4. Find the Your Information option
    5. Select Promote child account.
    when my daughter hit 18 the account didnt auto become an adult account i had to promote to adult account.

    Yes, but the family safety app only works *if they are using the edge browser*, and it doesn't prevent them from downloading apps that have other browsers that family safety doesn't filter. As far as blocking individual apps, I explain why that is a bad solution in the second paragraph of my original post.

    not able to block specific apps in the Microsoft store on XB1 and XSX.

    add them to family safety then you can block access to all games that you deem bad and stop them downloading stuff without asking. just look up family safety.
