Game Doesn't Launch (MGSV: GZ)

Discus and support Game Doesn't Launch (MGSV: GZ) in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I am currently having an issue with launching a digital copy of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes.     Game Doesn't Launch (MGSV: GZ)


    I am currently having an issue with launching a digital copy of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. It was on sale for $5 so I decided on buying it. When I tried launching it for the first time, it did show up onscreen but then it just stays at a black screen.
    I tried again and the same thing occurred.

    What I tried after was moving the game and its files from my external drive to the internal drive. I tried to see if it would work but no luck. It just stays at a black screen, it doesn't even go back to the dashboard to display an error message.

    I then tried uninstalling it and redownloading it from the store. Today I tried launching the game again, and still no luck.

    Any ideas? Thank you.

    Note: My Xbox One is currently running a preview build.

    I'm still kind of confused but...when Kojima said that Ground Zeros was a prologue to MGSV, what he meant was that GZ was literally the prologue of MGSV and The Phantom Pain being the main part of the game. Sort of like MGS3 where
    the Virtuous Mission was the the first small part and Operation Snake Eater was the main part? Tanker followed by the Big Shell in MGS2?

    MGS: Ground Zero Question

    I'd definitely play it, it's basically the prologue to MGSV. The game play gets a bit more refined in V from GZ but they are both worth it for the full experience.

    The same happens with me but with smite and Black Ops 3 and my xbox one is running a preview build as yours.

    It's most likely a preview program issue, I have no issues with any of those titles, and I am not in the preview program, but I would try resetting your Xbox and let it sit for a bit then try it again.

    It's most likely a preview program issue, I have no issues with any of those titles, and I am not in the preview program, but I would try resetting your Xbox and let it sit for a bit then try it again.
