Game does not work properly after recent update.

I preordered madden 23 with the promise of it it being the most polished madden yet. After a recent game update it does not work properly. It has been about 7 days since the issues were reported with no more updates on them fixing the issues of missing content. I tried to get a refund through Xbox returns but was unable to and have been unable to contact customer support to discuss my case. I tried to be placed on the call back customer support list but have not received a phone call after 24 hours. Is there anyway to contact Xbox support and try to get assistance with a refund? The game doesn’t work right and it is not what was promised. Any help would be appreciated. If I am stuck with it fine, but I will more than likely never purchase anything from EA ever again.

Do you have enough space on HDD? Does your internet connection work properly? Try to install the game first without updating and install the update after the installation is complete.

Hi,

System Cache clears all of those game cache as well as updates to the games. It's usually the first thing to try if something is not working properly with one of your games that recently had an update.

If that is so then why was surround sound working properly before the most recent update?

I recently updated my xbox one console. After the update, one of my games, which was working properly before the update, has stopped working. I insert the disc, the game screen logs in but I'm led to the home screen after a few seconds. I was directed yesterday
by the xbox ambassador to reset my console. I acted accordingly and the game played! However, when I turned on my console today to play the game, the same problem occurred. Please help.
