Game does not load or hangs when you start it

Recently I purchased Hitman on Xbox One and I played it once and after that it would not move on after the game introduction. In order to solve this I had to reset my console in settings. Make sure you choose the option to save your games otherwise everything
you done will be lost. Hope this helps

There is a problem with the launch of the game King's Quest: The Complete Collection

I bought the game, installed it, but it does not work. The first compatibility package does not load. starts to load, shows 100KB file, ready to load. Then everything breaks down and starts again, endlessly.

Minesweeper does not work. It just starts and hangs.

Minesweeper starts and hangs. It only worked once when installed. After the restart of the computer, it does not work.

My os is windows 10 with the April update and my laptop is surfacebook 2 15 inch.

Other Microsoft games work fine. Any help is appreciated.

When you say it suddenly freezes, does it just hang on a loading screen? What happens from the time you launch the app?

Hello, I'm also having a problem similar to yours, I put it to start the twitch but the application is loading infinitely and it does not open and after that the xbox starts to hang

UPDATE: After various trubleshooting exercises (e.g. hard-restarting Xbox One and routers) to no avail, I decided to go to a Microsoft store for help. The support person said that 99% of such problems get resolved by reinstalling the game and that they would
need to start troubleshooting with it. I tried to reason that because the game is a digital download copy and gets downloaded signed from the source, the chances of it getting corrupted during transmission is virtually zero, and that in case of a corruption
the game would either not load or crash. However, 30 minutes later after full redownload it just started working perfectly without any previous symptoms.

So, if you have any weird problems with digitally downloaded games - just try reinstalling and see if it solves the issue.

No, that's not what I meant. I was merely mentioning when you powered off your console, then going back to playing, loading screen hangs for a long time w/o actually loading your initial game save, dashboard, fire game back up, reload a different save, once
that loads w/o hangging, then attempt to load your actual game save you want to play. (Only way around that issue where loading screen hangs w/o actually loading.)
