Game DLC sometimes copies to the external, but won't delete off of the internal drive.

AC4, BF4, Ryse, DR3, CoD, all of these games DLC will not delete off of the internal drive. Most of them will "move" with the game, but a copy of them still remains on the internal drive. I have tried the delete all option as well as tried deleting them
individually but they won't budge. I have shut down and unplugged the system, rebooted and everything else but they still remain there.

I even deleted the AC4 game but can't delete the DLC. Even after redownloading the game the dlc will not leave the internal drive. Anyone else noticing this? Some games would not move at all, even after starting them up and seeing that there is no update.
Some of the smaller ones I just deleted and redownloaded them to the external and all is fine.

Just wondering if anyone else has found a way to "fix" this.

hard drive problems

i resently started using a 5tb 3.0 external hard drive with my x1, and i am having some problems with the x1 storage and was hoping there is a fix either now or coming in the future

1 - how can you delete/unistall a file if it says it is ready to install but for some unknown reason won't install so it can be uninstalled and also cannot be removed/deleted?

2 - when moving games and game dlc to the external hard drive is some times only copies some of the dlc content even though move was picked and is taking up space on both the internal and external hard drive and it will not allow to delete the copy off the
internal hard drive?

3 - when you uninstall a game why can i no longer see the dlc that is downloaded & installed on the hard drive even though it was never uninstalled?

4 - when i try to uninstall a dlc it will let me pick to uninstall it but it will not be removed?

5 - when i try to move some of the dlc to my external hard drive it will let me pick to move it but it will not move it?

6 - when i try to move dlc items from the internal to the external hard drive it stops the move saying install stopped and will not allow me to move it or even delete it to re try and download it?

This is something that Microsoft has been made aware of. Right now there isn't an easy work around beyond deleting the content from Internal and setting your console to use the external HDD as default and re-download the content.

 

I figured as much. I have been doing just that but don't look forward to the bigger 40gb games lol. Also, to kill off the DLC that I can't delete on the internal, should I do a system restore (since I will have all of my games on the external now) to wipe
them out and start fresh? I really don't want to but if that will square things away I'll do it.
