Game "Disney Dreamlight Valley" crash with no message on launch with only a black screen

Where did you downloaded the game? Directly from Microsoft store or from another site?

• Rebooted Microsoft Store
  
• Installed/uninstalled the game
  
• Reinstalled DirectX
  
• Installed Visual C++
  
• Synchronized the current time/hour
  
• Restarted the computer
  
• Tried to run the game as an administrator from the game installation folder => it lead to a message error saying I don't have the rights to reach the required path
  
• Updated Nvidia drivers AND did all Windows updates
  
• Put the game folder into the Avast exceptions list (did it because Avast had put the exe file in quarantine)
  

So far I run out of ideas...

Let's try something different.

Please remove completely Avast from your computer and try running the game.
If the issue persists, repair and reset. If that doesn't work reinstall the game one more time
(this is just if maybe Avast damaged/blocked other files related to the game)

If the issue persists and if you installed the game to a different drive than C:, move the game to the C: drive via Windows settings > apps > installed apps > find the game and click on the three little dots and select move
