Game disk stops installing

    Game disk stops installing


    I recently bought Battlefield 1 pre-owned from gamestop. I started installing, until it reached 85% then i got the “Installation Stopped” notification. I tried to continue to install but it doesn’t continue. I’ve restarted my xbox a couple of times but it
    still won’t go past 85%. Could it be the disk? Should i return the game?

    Scratched Disk

    i tried installing, still wont work since it says game is scratched. i called gamestop but they said they dont do disk repair. so frustrating game works perfect then stops.

    So...the ridiculous amount of disc swapping...

    The disk swap isn't that bad.

    What really bugs me is that every time I swap the disk, thanks to the new protection on recent games, the disk never stops to spin.

    I have to save and restart the game from the new disk to stop that annoying shuffle sound.

    Installing games what done for that matter and now it's kinda pointless is the disks are spinning anyway...

    Hi!

    Try installing the game by setting the console to "Offline". When the installation is finished, set the console to "Online" to download updates.

    Do the Graphics Still Look Horrible After Installing Texture Pack?

    So it seems that if you installed the game disk before you installed the Texture Pack, it messes up. I uninstalled the texture pack and uninstalled the multiplayer disk. I then installed the texture pack and then installed the disk. While installing the
    texture pack, there were no hiccups. The download did not stop, it flawlessly downloaded. I then installed the multiplayer disk back on my system. It seems this fixed the problem.

    It installs the disk is clean, shiny and the installation is 40gb and it stops at 13.97gb, 34.6%. Also I can go in the game but it just says installing 2% . but its only this game that does this.
