game discs and downloaded games won't launch

Hey, I just got an Xbox one and am having trouble getting any games to launch. I have a few 360 discs and Xbox one discs, plus a bunch of downloaded games from the store

The games will begin to launch but crash after 3-4 seconds and take me back to the loading screen. the discs sometimes will give me the took too long to load error code or just go to a black screen.

I feel like I have tried everything I've read to do on the internet:

• hard full power cycle both by holding power button and disconnecting cord from power box until light turned off

• clearing local saved cache

• clearing reserved data for all the games I'm trying to play

• switching to energy mode instead of instant on

• clearing the blu-ray/disc reader thing

The disc reader doesn't necessarily seem to be the problem? It does read the game it just won't launch

Any help would be really appreciated at this point! Thanks

saw another discussion that said to do a hard restart to clear cache....didn't work... no downloaded games will launch. No help from Microsoft. Error code doesn't exist in their support.

I'm having the same problem...... trying to launch the COD BO4 closed Beta and nothing!!!!!!! i highly doubt they are gonna pay me back for not being able to play.... this is ****!!!

The game disc is required to launch the game.

You only have these options:

Find your disc.
Buy a new disc.
Buy the game digitally, so you won't need a disc.

Are you trying to queue installs? You should be able to queue installs, but the game won't launch without the disc in.

if you are asked to update the game during the installation from disc always answer this question with NO !

After the install is finished start the game and update it then.

Do you receive any specific error code/message when the download stops?

Also, perform a hard reset by disconnecting the power cable for at least 10 seconds before reconnecting to completely reset the power supply.
