Game disc question

Hello

I have a question may be a bit stupid, but after 5 console refer to the support for disk drive problem.

I wondered if it was good to keep a game disc in the console when turned off or if it was better to remove it after each use?

If the system was designed to be all digital, there wouldn't be a disc drive in the first place. Secondly, the vast majority of the data infrastructure in the world would collapse under the strain of everything being all digital as it currently sits. 20
years from now it would make more sense, and in all essence be entirely possible. I live in a state where huge portions of it can't even get DSL as crappy as DSL is. They're stuck with dialup or nothing. Until the planet is running off of unified fiber the
all digital "lets never ever get off the couch to do anything because my system has it all running from a cloud" world is quite aways off. Just saying.

Gone full digital and not changing discs is a big plus on X1.

It doesn't matter either way really. I leave mine in all the time unless I'm done with the game or switch it with another and have never had any issues. The only time it would cause a problem is if you move the console while the disc is still in.

If it says NTSC on it, it might work.

If it's a pirated copy your Xbox will just say it's unplayable or unreadable. Same thing if you put in a Region 2 DVD (USA is Region 1).

You would get banned for having a modified console which is capable of playing such pirated games and connecting it to Live, but that's not the case here.

Hey there, is the game in question a physical disc or a digital purchase?

A physical disc, it seems that it's only this game too. other games from discs install perfectly.

Only one answer at this point, a damaged disc.

Stupid question, but are the original xbox games, games that you downloaded from LIVE or the actual disc? Sorry again for the daft question.
