game disc keeps. crashing Xbox

I'm trying to see if anyone else is having the same problem. I had recently bought a brand new GTA v game disc for my Xbox one s and every time i start up the game and load into the game after a few minutes the game or the console (not sure which one) decides
to turn off the console all by itself. I even went to the store to ask for a new disc which they gave me and I even deleted the old files from the other disc. Other apps do work though. This is really starting to get me fustrated.Please help

my xbox keeps crashing fh3 but i can plays other games without problems. I already re-installed the game and the game keeps crashing. Can somebody help me??

 

Gamebreaking minecraft glitch

So basically my minecraft xbox 360 menu keeps crashing as soon as I load the game I know it wasn't the disc cause I bought another one can anyone help me I tried pretty much everything

I would start with fully rebooting the console and clearing cache by trying a
powercycle.

Also I would suggest you follow our
Game Won't Start article and try all of the steps listed there.

Hello its me again ( the website wouldn't let me login to write the previous message on my main account so i made that one and im still not sure if im even loged in). Unfortunately none of those suggestions didn't resolve my problem. It
is still shutting off after a few minutes of gameplay.

 

Be aware, that the console only uses the disc to transfer the game to it's console hard drive during installation, and after that it only briefly checks it as a "proof of purchase" and that you still own the game. The game itself is completely loaded off
the console's hard drive or an external USB hard drive. The disc is not used for loading game data on the Xbox One.

If you think the disc or game installation is defective, you can even try this:

Have the GTA disc inserted in your console.

Manage the game and delete everything from your console. Uninstall the base game, and all add-ons and DLC, if applicable. Also make sure to clear the LOCAL save storage.

DO NOT delete the savegame from all consoles by deleting the cloud storage!!! You will then have to start the game all over again!!! ONLY delete the local savegame!!!

Then, with the disc still inserted, go to the Xbox store app, and find GTA V. You should be able to find the "basic" version of Grand Theft Auto V, and as long as the disc is properly recognized, you should be able to completely download the game from the
store for free as the buy button should show an install button.

Make sure that you choose the "basic" Grand Theft Auto V game, and not the bundles with Shark Cards!

After you re-downloaded the game, try if it still crashes.

Also try to download the game to a different storage device (e.g. an external USB drive instead of the internal console hard drive and vice versa).

So if this is only happening with one game, and you've tried the troubleshooting steps in the game won't start article. Maybe your best course of action would be to do a soft factory reset (a reset where your games stay installed).

Once you have made sure that you have the sign-in info for any/all accounts that you guys use regularly and have easy access to your network, try following the steps in

How to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One and let us know if that helps with the issue you are experiencing.

Unfortunately the soft reset didn't work

 

If you have stuck a disk in the console, the console has a small hole on the side, which, when a pin or needle sticks, ejects the disk.
