Game (Disc) Crashing

I'm going to go into detail into everything that is happening, because I want this fixed as soon as possible. So, I think I might have done something wrong and moved the console with a disk inside of it. I highly doubt this, because I am usually super careful
with my consoles. Here is what has been happening: I usually play Call of Duty on the PS4, but sometimes I want to go back to the 360, because it is just a legendary console. I put in my disc, and sometimes without me even touching the disc slot to close,
it closes on the game disc. Now, I'm fairly sure this isn't the cause, because all of the discs are clear of scratches. The game still loads. 10 minutes later, when I am in the middle of a game, that COD or other game closes, goes to a black screen for a second,
and then goes to the dashboard. The Xbox doesn't freeze, but I did notice something after it crashes. When I go to my "Games" section and click on "My Games" nothing loads, and it just sticks at the loading button. This happens a lot when I try and play a
game, and when I first load up the Xbox there is rarely a picture on the "Play Game" icon. Please help immediately, and if my Xbox needs maintenance I will be sure to do so.

Install or no install?

Game was crashing on me when I installed disc two, without installing disc two it works fine so that'd be my advice.

Also having the same problem with disc and digitall games crashing back home instantly ive tried all the above suggestions still doesnt work

Xbox 360 is great, isn't it? I bet you do take good care of it, but sometimes accidents can happen. There's a nifty guide for taking care of your discs and console here:

support.xbox.com/.../care-maintain In there, it outlines optimal positioning and ventilation for your console, as well as notes that moving your console while a disc is in - even if it is just a slight nudge - can cause damage to discs.

Not to say that you did this on purpose, but if you are seeing scratches (and maybe even disc/gameplay issues) this is likely the cause. Be sure to check out that guide.

Install your game. If your game installs, then it's not your disc, but rather your cache and/or save file. If your disc doesn't install, then it's the disc.
