Game development Empire Earth 1 and 2 purchasable digital version

I have bought ps3 Games digitally ( Dynasty warriors 7 empires since you can only do it digital and only on the ps3) and there is no Tax on it ( In New York City is 8.875% and that of 59.99 is 5 and change....) and I have had no issues with the few games
I bought on it ( Mass Effect 2 and dynasty warriors 7 empires ).

[/quote] you completely missed the point... Let me try and clarify it so you can understand it... The ps3 version of the download REQUIRES the user to be connected online in order to access the game. Since this is a drm issued by the developer there is a
good chance that it would be implemented in the 360 version when it comes out... Furthermore, what i was stating was why buy a game digitally for 60 bucks when you can't play it ALL THE TIME...meaning, if your internet goes down you CANNOT play tomb raider...
For the same price i can go to a store and buy the disk and play whenever and wherever.

It’s not unheard of for games to be released as digital only versions and it comes down to the developer/publisher to decide if they want to release a physical copy if the game.

I was waiting ages for Cuphead to get a physical release but it has not happened yet, so I just gave up and purchased the digital version.
