    Game Demos


    As I am browsing the Xbox 360 games, I noticed the games that look good and interesting, there is no option to demo the game. For example, Dead Island Riptide, this game looks good but I would like to demo it first to see if I am going to like it. I don't
    want to pay $20 dollars for a game based on what the game looks like on the front and back cover. I don't want to view this game on Youtube either. I want to actually play a game before I decide to pay for it. I want to sample the game first before I invest
    money into it. It is similar to sampling a book on Amazon. You want to sample a few chapters of the book before you decide to buy the book.

    Since a "demo" is not always available in the Xbox 360 games, where else can I go to download a "demo" of new releases and old games?

    Game Demos is a thing which i think gives you demos. it is for both games

    is there a way to not be able to delete downloaded games?

    The catch is that the demos are just that: demos. Not the full games.

    Game Demos

    As I am looking at games in the Xbox 360 Store, how do I sort by "game demo". I want to only look at games that have the "game demo" symbol. Obviously, I know that I search for games on my Xbox 360 but I find it faster to do it on a computer.

    It would be up to the developer as to whether or not there is a demo. If there is not one listed on the marketplace, there would not be a way to download it anywhere else to play on the 360.

    As far as I'm aware, there is no way to filter the search to only demos.

    No demo's, I'm looking at 9 demo's right now. They may not be the hottest games ever, but then why spend money on a demo these company's know people will buy the game anyways without needing said demo!

    Demos are a must, I don't buy certain games because of this, I read developers don't like demos, well, if the game is well made and the demo is good they have nothing to worry about, not every game appeals to us all anyway, but demos can help, I have bought
    games that I may not have after playing demos.

    Hello Mister G,

    While I am signed in. Under games tab- my games.

    The small icon image games are: two worlds-demo/ Jurassic hunter-demo/ civ rev-demo/ new kameo-demo/ brutal legends-demo/ RE5-demo/ LOTR-conquest-demo/ left4dead-demo/ DBZ-ragingblast-demo, and they always display as small.

    The other large icons, 20+ more titles, are always large displayed.

    Although Dead Space, which is in my xbox360 as a disk, still shows up as a small icon from time to time on the dashboard when connected online as well..

    Why would it be a 1hr demo when we already have demos for all games on the marketplace.? Why would demos be limited to one person at a time. It wasn't demos.
