    Great news! Microsoft are reintroducing game demos to the Xbox One marketplace. It will work in the same way as the Xbox 360.

    Xbox One now supports trial and unlock game demos

    They're also going make it easier to search for ID@xbox game titles.

    How to play a DVD demo ?

    That game was an Xbox Original titles, which is where the issue is likely coming from. Though some games are supported from the original console, it's doubtful that any demos would be.

    The best way to find demos is to say "xbox bing (pause for this to go to bing) game demos" this will show list if game demos. There is one for FIFA 14, NBA Live, and Kinect Sports Rivals

    Only for a few games. This will add trial demos for all ID@xbox games in the same way as the 360 Arcade Live titles.

    Yup, this will be a very welcome addition to the Xbox One as most of my purchases on the 360 were made from playing the demos. I like to try before I buy!

    So Microsoft is forcing indie devs to have demos for all their games? I thought the devs were screaming bloody murder over this? Or is this another case of can't please everyone?

    After reading this article I see now....the OPTION for the dev to have a trial or demo is available, doesn't mean they have to do it...so nothing has changed.

    After reading this article I see now....the OPTION for the dev to have a trial or demo is available, doesn't mean they have to do it...so nothing has changed.
